Made a draft of the DoodleRO Coin Icon that I want to use.. Made mostly in Illustrator, and finished in Photoshop:

Made a mascott in Illustrator today. Still need to name it!

It’s been ages since I’ve had to work with illustrator, and I know I’m definitely a bit out of touch. The project I’m currently working on is going to be in need of icons, so I figured I would take a look at a few tutorials and check up on the new tools and techniques. Definitely worked out well.

I didn’t finish, of course, since most of the other details were just repetition of the same techniques. It’s gotten a lot easier to create stunning looking icons in illustrator than it used to be, and I’m excited to really get my hands dirty with that in the near future.
