Ventrilo App for iPhone – VentBL

I just released VentBL ( Ventrilo Buddy List ) for the iPhone. Ventrilo Buddy List allows you to easily monitor who’s online your favorite Ventrilo server, from your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Check it out: iTunes – VentBL

Can you chat to people on it? Email me back please

You can only see who’s online. Chat and Voice were omitted, as Apple seems to not like those features present in Ventrilo apps.

Just a monitor. :) As of now it lets you see who’s online, and which channel they’re in.

Any plans on upgrading to a working ventrilo app? I know there have been issues in the past, but there are alot of apps out there that work similar. There has to be a way…

I’ve been communicating with Apple and am currently looking into adding chat functionality. We’ll see how it goes. :)

Mike, I really hope you are able to get voice working and past apple for a legit app. In the meantime ever think about the Cydia store route?

Hey, just wondering about progress for the chat function. Any luck? It would be really amazing, and I would for sure buy it. A few questions about the app right now though, one, can people see that your looking at the server? And two, how can I tell if my server will work with this app? Thank you.

Still researching the chat functionality. 1. No one can see that you are viewing the server status. You’re not actually connecting as a user, just fetching the info. 2. If you want to email me your server info, I can test it for you to make sure it works.

I’m disappointed. I’ve used vent instead of TS faithfully for years, and despite an app available from their competitors, there’s still no Vent app. Please do what you can to make this a reality, and you’ll have the support and adoration(and funding) of the masses.

I appreciate the encouragement, Kaidem. I’ll see what I can do. :)
